You and the Coffee

Dark, wet, very quiet
There is no you
There is no one
In this town, after the rain
I’m all alone
Black, hot, a little bit bitter
I’m sitting on the corner of the room
Looking at the window
Wish you were there
Watching me from a distance
Coming to closer
And knocking at my door
Share a cup of coffee that I’m holding
Like we used to
And now
You are more bitter than the coffee
