Definition of Tourism
According to Richard
Sihite in Marpaung and Bahar ( 2000: 46-47 ) Explaining the definition of
tourism as follows: tourism is a journey that are done for a while, being held
from a place to another left which it had, with a planning and with a view not
to strive or earn a living in a place visited, but solely to enjoy activities
and recreation or its variegated to satisfy the desire.
According to H. Kodhyat (
1983: 4) Is as follows: tourism is the
journey from one place to another, temporary, conducted an individual or group,
as an effort to balance or harmony and happiness with the environment in the
social dimension, culture, nature and science.
Salah Wahab ( 1975: 55 )
said the definition of tourism, namely: tourism is one of the new industry that
is capable of accelerating economic growth and provision of employment
opportunities, the increase in income, standard of living as well as stimulate
other productive sectors. Next, as a sector which complex, tourism also realize
classical industries as handicraft industries and souvenirs, lodging and
transportation.
According to the opinion
of James J.Spillane ( 1982: 20 ) said that tourism is the activity of doing
travel by the purpose of obtaining enjoyment, seeks gratification, know
something, improve health, enjoy sport or break, finished performing the annual
duty and others.
Tourism in Indonesia
Raja Ampat is one of the pride of Indonesia
which is located in eastern Indonesia regions precisely in West Papua. Raja Ampat
very famous beauty under lib. Almost half the species of fish in the world is
in the sea Raja Ampat . There are many lodging provided comfort and beauty of

2. Bali
Bali is a tourism place in
Indonesia that are very popular in the world. All somebody would know Indonesia
from Bali. On the island of Bali there are many tourist destinations that you

sun sink. There are Ubud that provides a natural attraction by a mood of rural
areas and then there are the other recreation places beautiful as Bedugul not
less, lot and there are still many other land.
3. Lombok
Lombok island is located in the province of West
Nusa Tenggara. Lombok island is a collection of several small island. Lombok
Island tourist most of them are tourism the coast .There are Senggigi beach

4. Mt Bromo

My Opinion
According to my opinion tourism is a nice place for us visit on holidays and not to stay for a long time. I think tourism is a very nice thing generally you learn many things, like others culture, life, behavior, way of life, etc.
